About me
Josh is a British born lighting designer & educator based in Lawrence, Kansas. In 2023, he received his BA in Film & TV from the University of Reading, Reading, England and is currently pursuing his MFA in Scenography at the University of Kansas with a concentration in Lighting Design.
During his time at KU, Josh worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and was the instructor of record for theater production classes including Scenic, Lighting & Costume Production. Most recently he designed the scenery for the KU University Theatre production of John Proctor is the Villain and the lighting design for Indecent, where he was awarded a commendation for his lighting design at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival 57 in Des Moines Iowa.
He is an experienced ETC EOS Family Programmer, Scenic Carpenter, Electrician and mentor. He is proficient in 2D & 3D Modeling using Vectorworks, Lightwright and Qlab.
